Celluloid has long been a favorite material of players for tone, feel, and response. Pickboy uses Japanese celluloid which is of a higher quality and offers a true "classic" celluloid tone and feel.

Cermaic delivers even tone and the nice twack at the front of the note doesn't dominate the sound.

Carbon Nylon is responsive, has a quick release off the string, and delivers an even tone with a bit of a mid range hump.

Polyacetal has a nice bright tone and a firm string feel.
