Born in December 1982 in Genova, Italy, Andrea begun studying music at the age of 10, specializing in guitar playing as self-taught since the age of 12, influenced by guitarists such as Brian May, Adrian Smith, Marty Friedman, Jeff Loomis and Vinnie Moore.
He founded “Red Warlock”, his current band, in 2005. Along its career, the band played in renowned live shows, supporting artists such as Raven, Labyrinth and Pino Scotto, and in 2009 the band was confirmed in “Play It Loud Fest IV” bill, together with Diamond Head, Agent Steel, Destruction, Sacred Steel, Raven, Tygers of Pan Tang, etc…
The band’s first full-length “Serve your Master” was released on December 6th 2010, by MyGraveyard Productions. Watch a clip of Red Warlock's "Awakening" directed by Daniele Paglia and featuring the famous horror director Ruggero Deodato in a cameo appearance.
Red Warlock will also appear in "All Fear the Axemen", an all-stars tribute album to the band Omen, approved by Kenny Powell himself, Omen’s former guitarist.
