Kyle Ragan is a musician, recording artist, and musical gear reviewer residing in Baltimore, Maryland. Kyle is a veteran of the Northern Florida musical scene. Having played in bands Middle Ground, Standing Chance, and Losing Adelaide, Kyle had the opportunity to share the stage with and open for such acts as George Clinton, Flickerstick (VH1 bands on the run), Big Dismal (Wind up records), and many more. He also performed for entities such as Sports Illustrated and Gulf 104 (radio), and Volume Magazine. Since relocating Kyle spent time as lead singer and a guitarist in the band Screams and Whispers and currently is the Lead singer and guitarist in the band and 2 man production team Weatherly, Kyle covers a diverse musical ground. He is highly influenced by 90’s rock, pop rock, and singer songwriters. He seeks to infuse that base in his music with the diverse collection of musical tastes and backgrounds of his fellow band mates. As a guitarist he focuses on highly melodic, rhythm driven riffs that always put the overall composition of a song first. Screams and Whispers She’s Treble Records and Weatherly is currently independent.
These days, with Weatherly, he has continued his Youtube Channel dedicated to gear reviews and demos for guitarists. To check out some of his videos click on the Dr J pedals and watch his videos of the Aerolite and Armor buffer. (That cool lick at the video intro is from Screams and Whispers "Dodging Catastrophe") Also check out "The Weatherly Report" the bi-weekly podcast Weatherly puts out to talk gear, producing, and all things music.
Weatherly released its debut album "The Making of......." in Early 2018 and is currently producing other local acts while working on their second album
