Siska is currently working on a new album in collaboration with a producer that has worked with Bon Jovi, Kiss and Aerosmith. The hard rock band that toured with Whitesnake and Skid Row and shared the stage with Children Of Bodom, Sonata Arctica, Arch Enemy, Epica, Soulfly, Dream Theater and many more is writing new songs and working in the studio! The expectation is growing for the new album, which will follow "Romantic Dark & Violent", an album that has given the band recognition to perform overseas in South America and in the stages of the most renowned hard rock and heavy metal festivals.Siska plans tour Europe in 2022 with new songs and new scenography in arenas and sports halls to promote the new album.
Mattia's Gear
Siska was formed in 2015 by Mattia Sisca, the guitarist who played as a supporting act for Blaze Bayley, Jennifer Batten, Dennis Stratton, Michael Angelo Batio and many others! Mattia played shows across Europe and South America as a headliner and supporting band with Lunar Explosion and other international artists. The first video of the band, “Sally”, was filmed in the “Staglieno Cemetery” in Genova Italy. This is the first time the cemetery was used for rock video. The location is a UNESCO’s world heritage site. In 2016, Siska started the first tour of the band in Brasil opening for Tim Ripper Owens (Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Malmsteen), and played successful sold out shows, conquering the hearts of the audience.
In 2018, Siska released two singles: “Nothing Left to Say” and “Waiting Now”. At the same time Siska were chosen by legendary Skid Row to take part to their United World Rebellion tour across Europe. Later in 2018 Siska released their first album “Romantic Dark and Violent” with Big Tuna Records\SONY. CDs and vinyls are available in the best world music shops. In that same month, Siska took part in Metalhead Meeting in Arenele Romane, Bucharest and played in front of thousands of people together with Children Of Bodom, Sonata Artica, Epica, Soulfly and many others.
In 2019, Enuff Z ‘Nuff (Frontiers records) choose Siska as a special guest, taking part to their tour across Europe. Later in 2019, Siska was selected by the legendary WHITESNAKE as the only opening act in Romania for their “Flesh and Blood” World Tour. In December 2019, Siska performed as main support for Geoff Tate, the legendary voice of Queensrÿche, during his show in Italy.
