Gianni Corazza
Born on September 7th 1976, in Sassari, Italy, Gianni begun playing guitar at the age of 15, driven by music passion and inspired by the great Europe guitarist Kee Marcello. From 1998 to 2002 he studied guitar playing in “Lizard Music Academy” being thought by Alex Stornello (Frank Gambale's disciple and collaborator).
In 2003 he joined Reel Fiction, together with Mariangela Demurtas (Tristania) and Marcello Schirru (Death SS). During this period they played live, supporting bands in important acts, as Helloween, Children of Bodom, Lacuna Coil and Extrema. In 2005 Reel Fiction recorded a mini CD in Germany, produced by Sascha Gerstner (Helloween guitarist), which brought them a deal with the label Komodo Dragon Records.
In 2007 Gianni left Reel Fiction, and joined Red Warlock in 2009. The first Red Warlock full length recording is released in 2010 by MyGraveyard Productions. It contains the videoclip "Awakening," directed by Daniele Paglia and featuring the famous horror director Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust, Hostel 2, etc...) appearing for a cameo.
Along its carreer, the band played in renowned live shows, supporting artists such as Raven, Labyrinth and Pino Scotto, and in 2009 the band was confirmed in “Play It Loud Fest IV” bill, together with Diamond Head, Agent Steel, Destruction, Sacred Steel, Raven, Tygers of Pan Tang, etc…
Red Warlock will also appear in "All Fear the Axemen", an all-stars tribute album to the band Omen, approved by Kenny Powell himself, Omen’s former guitarist. They're currently working on their second album, that will be released in 2012.
